🌙 Ramadan Mubarak · Capallo Sadaqah Initiative

Your Sadaqah doesn't
just help — it builds.

Channel your charity into struggling entrepreneurs across Bangladesh. One donation creates a business. One business creates a livelihood. One livelihood creates future givers.

إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا

"Charity is only for the poor, the needy, and those working to earn but struggling to meet their needs..." — the people who will not ask, but whose potential is waiting for one small act of trust.

Surah At-Tawbah, 9:60
⚡ Shariah Guidance: This initiative is structured as Sadaqah / Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing voluntary charity). Donations go directly to individual entrepreneurs — not to business entities — making this valid under the broadest scholarly consensus. Donors who intend this as Zakat should consult their own scholar regarding the nisab eligibility of each recipient. We intentionally do not brand this as Zakat so that donors of all kinds — both Zakat and Sadaqah — can participate without restriction.

Simple. Transparent. Traceable.

Every taka you give follows a clear, documented path from your wallet to a founder's hands — and we report back on exactly where it went.

1
You Donate
Give any amount via the SupportKori link. Secure, instant, and takes 60 seconds. No account needed.
2
Capallo Curates
We identify vetted struggling entrepreneurs from our network — founders with real businesses and real potential but zero working capital.
3
Capital Deployed
We purchase the exact assets or inventory the founder needs — a sewing machine, a cart, raw materials/inventory, equipment. Capital never becomes cash. It becomes tools that generate income from day one.
4
You See the Impact
Monthly updates shared on LinkedIn & directly to donors. By next Ramadan, many of these founders will be giving their own Zakat.

Not charity cases. Entrepreneurs.

These are people with products, skills, and customers — who simply need a small working capital financing support to take their next step. They don't want handouts forever. They want a start.

The Multiplier Effect of Smart Sadaqah

Traditional charity feeds people for a day. This initiative creates engines that generate income — for years, for families, for communities.

🔁
Sadaqah Jariyah — Ongoing Reward
When your donation enables a business, every product sold, every family fed, every employee paid — that is your ongoing reward continuing even after Ramadan ends.
📈
From Recipient to Giver
Today's micropreneur is next year's Zakat-payer. Our goal: every founder we support reaches nisab within 12 months and pays it forward independently.
👨‍👩‍👧
Family & Community Impact
One business supports an average of 3–5 family members. At scale, ৳50 lakh seeded into 100+ businesses touches 300–500 lives directly.
🏦
Capallo Management Fee → More Micropreneurs
100% of Capallo's management fees from Ramadan investments are separately donated to this same fund — your Sadaqah is amplified by our own commitment.
🌏
Building the ৳1 Trillion Economy
Bangladesh's path to a trillion-dollar economy runs through millions of small businesses. Channelling Zakat and Sadaqah into working capital is the fastest, most halal route there.
🛡️
Institutional-Grade Accountability
Unlike anonymous charity funds, Capallo uses the same due-diligence infrastructure we apply to investor deals — vetted founders, documented disbursements, transparent reporting.

🌙 The Vision: A Self-Sustaining Cycle of Giving

Imagine ৳50 lakh given this Ramadan creates 100 businesses. Those 100 businesses employ 400 people. By next Ramadan, 60 of those founders are above nisab and give their own Zakat. That Zakat seeds 120 new businesses. And the cycle compounds — not through speculation, but through amanah: capital as a trust, wielded with intention.

Full Transparency. No Overhead. No Ambiguity.

We know that trust is earned, not assumed. Here is exactly how every taka moves and how we hold ourselves accountable.

💸
How Funds Are Disbursed
Every donation collected through SupportKori is held separately and disbursed in tranches to individual entrepreneurs — not pooled into a general fund.
  • As assets & inventory — never as cash to founders
  • We purchase on behalf of founders — machines, product stock, equipment
  • Each disbursement is documented with name, business type & amount
  • No overhead deducted — 0% management cut from donations
  • SupportKori platform fee (if any) disclosed upfront
🔍
How We Vet Entrepreneurs
We apply a simplified version of our investor due-diligence framework to identify genuine need and genuine potential.
  • Active business or clear business plan required
  • Verified financial need (below nisab threshold)
  • Background check via Capallo's existing founder network
  • Commitment to monthly progress updates for 12 months
  • Priority for women-led and marginalized founders
📊
How We Report Back to Donors
Accountability isn't optional. We publish impact updates publicly so every donor can see where their money went.
  • Monthly LinkedIn post: disbursements, businesses, amounts
  • End-of-Ramadan full transparency report
  • 12-month follow-up: how many founders reached nisab
  • Direct email update to SupportKori donors
  • Any unspent funds rolled into next disbursement cycle
🤝
Capallo's Own Contribution
We don't just facilitate. We contribute. 100% of Capallo's management fees from investments processed during Ramadan are separately donated to this fund.
  • Management fee donation: disclosed per deal processed
  • Separate accounting from community donations
  • Capallo is accountable — all queries: saleh.sazzad@capallo.co or WP (+88 01645 823853)
  • This initiative is not investor capital — donations are separate
  • No conflict of interest between investors and Sadaqah fund

🌿 Our Pledge

Capallo will never use this fund for operational expenses, salaries, or investor activities. This is pure amanah — a trust from donors to founders. If for any reason we cannot identify suitable entrepreneurs for a portion of funds, that amount will be held in trust and rolled into the next Ramadan cycle or returned to donors on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to feel confident before giving.

Does the founder receive cash? +
No — and this is intentional. Rather than handing over cash, Capallo purchases the specific assets or inventory the founder needs directly — a sewing machine, raw materials, stock, or equipment. This ensures 100% of your donation becomes productive capital, eliminates misuse risk, and means the business starts generating income from day one. Every purchase is documented and shared in our transparency reports.
Does my donation count as Zakat? +
This initiative is structured as Sadaqah (voluntary charity), not formally as Zakat. However, since funds go directly to individual entrepreneurs who are below the nisab threshold, many scholars would consider this valid as Zakat too. We recommend consulting your own scholar. If your intention is Zakat, please ensure you're satisfied that recipients qualify under nisab rules. Either way, the impact is identical.
Why "Sadaqah" instead of "Zakat"? +
Branding this as Zakat would require us to verify the nisab eligibility of every individual recipient — a compliance burden we cannot do at scale for 100+ founders. By framing it as Sadaqah, we can accept donations from everyone (Zakat-intending or not), ensure maximum participation, and avoid inadvertently invalidating anyone's Zakat due to unverified eligibility. It is the more cautious and inclusive approach.
How do I know the money actually reaches founders? +
We publish monthly disbursement reports on LinkedIn with names (or initials if privacy is requested), business types, and amounts given. At the end of Ramadan, a full transparency report will be shared publicly and emailed to all SupportKori donors. We treat this with the same rigor we apply to investor reporting.
What if the founder misuses the money? +
All selected founders are vetted through Capallo's existing network and agree to monthly check-ins. In the event of misuse, Capallo will document it, pursue recovery where legally possible, and report transparently to donors. We cannot guarantee outcomes — but we guarantee transparency and accountability, which is the Islamic standard for those who handle others' amanah.
Is this connected to Capallo's investor deals? +
No. The Sadaqah fund and Capallo's investment deals are completely separate. Investor capital is never mixed with charity funds. The only connection is that Capallo donates 100% of its own management fees from Ramadan deals to this fund — but that is Capallo's own money, not investors' money.
Who decides which entrepreneurs receive the funds? +
Capallo curates the list, drawing from founders who've applied to Capallo for working capital, referrals from the Capallo network, and community nominations. Selection criteria: genuine financial need, viable business idea, and willingness to provide progress updates. Priority given to women-led and marginalized founders.
Can I donate a specific amount for one entrepreneur? +
Yes — if you donate ৳10,000–20,000 and specify in the notes that you'd like it directed to a single founder, we'll do our best to honour that. For amounts under ৳5,000, funds are pooled and distributed collectively to maximise impact. Reach out to saleh.sazzad@capallo.co or WP (+88 01645 823853) for large or directed donations.
What happens to unspent funds? +
Any unspent funds at the end of the Ramadan cycle will be carried forward to the next disbursement round and disclosed in the transparency report. No funds will be used for Capallo's operating expenses. If you'd prefer a refund of undeployed funds, contact us within 30 days of the end of Ramadan.
⚠️ Important: This is a charitable giving initiative, not an investment. You will not receive financial returns on your donation. Capallo acts as a curator and distributor, not a financial institution. This initiative is not regulated by any financial authority in Bangladesh. All disbursements are acts of charitable giving, and Capallo volunteers its time and infrastructure at no cost to donors.
🌙 This Ramadan

Don't just give charity.
Give a future.

৳1,000 from you today could be someone's entire startup capital tomorrow. And next Ramadan, they'll be giving — not receiving.
